Acceptance of Terms

By using Mindry, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

The Service

Mindry is a journaling app that helps you organize your thoughts using AI-powered tag suggestions. Free users get limited features; premium subscribers get unlimited access.

Your Account

  • You're responsible for keeping your account secure
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use Mindry
  • One account per person
  • Don't share your login credentials

Acceptable Use

You may not:

  • Use Mindry for illegal activities
  • Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or exploit the app
  • Share or distribute content that violates others' rights
  • Use the service to harass or harm others

Your Content

  • You own everything you create in Mindry
  • Your content is private and stored locally on your device
  • By using AI features, you allow us to process your content through Google's AI service as described in our Privacy Policy
  • We don't claim any ownership over your content

Subscriptions

Free Trial Terms

  • New users may be eligible for a free trial period as displayed in the app
  • You won't be charged during the trial period
  • Your subscription begins and billing starts automatically when the trial ends
  • To avoid charges, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the trial period ends
  • Free trials are available once per user and cannot be reused
  • If you've previously subscribed to Mindry Pro, you may not be eligible for a free trial

Billing & Auto-Renewal

  • Premium subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account
  • Payment will be charged to your account at confirmation of purchase or when the free trial ends
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
  • The renewal will be charged at the same price as your original subscription unless the price has changed and you've been notified

Managing Your Subscription

  • You can manage and cancel your subscription through your device's subscription settings at any time
  • For iOS: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions
  • For Android: Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions
  • Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period
  • You'll retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing period

Pricing & Refunds

  • Current subscription prices are displayed in the app and may vary by region
  • We reserve the right to change subscription prices with notice to active subscribers
  • Price changes won't affect your current subscription period
  • No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods
  • If you cancel during a free trial, you won't be charged
  • For refund requests on completed charges, contact Apple or Google directly - we cannot process refunds for App Store or Play Store purchases

Service Availability

  • We provide Mindry "as is" without guarantees
  • We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time
  • We're not liable for data loss - back up your important content

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We're not responsible for any damages arising from your use of Mindry
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your subscription in the last 12 months

Termination

  • You can delete your account from the Settings page anytime
  • We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms
  • Upon termination, your account data is deleted but local content remains on your device

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and will notify you of significant changes through the app. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Lithuania, without regard to conflict of law principles.
